As part of the curriculum, Social Work students are supposed to undergo a 7-Day rural camp, to get an exposure to rural living as well as community organisation. This year the community in Manidumkuzhy, of Kanjirappally grama panchayath, was selected as the camp site. Various programmes were arranged as part of the rural camp.


On 21st August 2017, the Dept of social work organized a course orientation for first MSW students. Mr. Martin and Mr. Philip of Mark and Phil Associates guided the students dynamic and efficient professional social workers.


In order to familiarise the students with different social work settings ,the Department of Social Work  organized observation visits to   Mental Health Centre, Trivandrum and Vocational Rehabilitation Centre(National Career Centre for Differently Abled),Trivandrum on 15th June 2017.

SOCIAL WORK WEEK CELEBRATIONS (14/03/2017 TO 21/03/2017)

One week Programme was organised for the celebration of International Social Work Day (21/03/2017).
