The Department of commerce established in the year 2004, Initially the Department had a meagre strength of 22 students and 4 faculty members. Now the Department can proudly claim strength of around 330 students and 14 well qualified and experienced faculty members.

B.Com Finance and Taxation & B.Com Computer Application

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is an undergraduate course aimed at imparting thorough practical and conceptual knowledge in a variety of subjects like Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Management, Capital market, Income tax, Information Technology, Tally and so on. This is the most demanded course in Kerala as elsewhere in India. The relevance of commerce in terms of the ever increasing number of enrolments and the job opportunities it offers, the department is taking creative initiatives to motivate and inspire students to produce the best by organizing different seminars, workshops, personality development programs in addition to regular academics. The Department is also providing extension activities to cater to the requirements of the community at large.
